DNP: What does a typical day look like for you?

Cory: A typical day for me is waking up, heading to the studio to either work on post production or to shoot. I spend most of my days in my Toronto studio with my Hermann & Audrey crew.

DNP: What projects have you recently been working on?

Cory: I like to keep busy so I always have different projects on the go. Editorials for YYZ magazine, iMute Magazine, 708 Magazine – as well as projects for Daily News Project, and a fashion film house exhibit.

DNP: What do you find most challenging and exciting about your career?

Cory: The most challenging thing to me I think is satisfying myself with the images I create. I always want to be better – I’m never happy with my images and I’m always thinking about what I can do to make them better. That’s also the most exciting thing about shooting.

DNP: How do you manage a healthy work/life balance?

Cory: I don’t think I do – my work is my life, and my life is my work. All I want to do all day everyday is take photographs and develop my style.

DNP: What’s your go-to spot for a drink in the city?

Cory: Wide Open – a hole in the wall with cold beer.

DNP: What does success look like to you?

Cory: Being fulfilled. If you truly love what your doing and you find pleasure in your work then you’re successful.

DNP: How do you stay inspired?

Cory: I stay inspired by knowing I can always improve. After every shoot that I review I always find something that I can improve on. This makes me excited about my next shoot every time.

DNP: If you weren’t doing what you’re doing, what would you be doing?

Cory: I'm a photographer and a filmmaker. If I couldn’t do this I don’t know what I would be doing. I’m in love with creating original content everyday.

DNP: What do the next 6 months look like for you?

Cory: Moving to NYC in August to work with the master Platon and take the city over.

DNP: Where is your favorite place to travel and why?

Cory: I love Europe, London or Paris. Its impossible to not be inspired by the amazing locations, the beautiful people, and the amazing fashion.

DNP: If you could spend a day with any person (living or dead), who would it be?

Cory: Stanley Kubrick.

DNP: What's the most borderline illegal thing you've ever done?

Cory: Breaking and entering into an outdoor location to shoot, I do that all the time.
