Hannah Bronfman is a New York-based health and wellness enthusiast, as well as a DJ and entrepreneur that recently launched HBfit. HBfit.com is a platform that showcases all of the things that enrich and invigorate Bronfman's life: wellness, fitness, fashion, travel and music. It is a space where she hopes to educate and empower her friends, family and followers. We took a moment to catch up with the native New Yorker, who recently DJ'd the Legacy Awards at The Art Institute of Chicago, to learn more about how she manages to keep a healthy work/life balance, what she considers her greatest achievement, and more. DNP: What does a typical day look like for you?
Hannah: Most days start off with a workout and #hbsmoothie, followed by meetings, an afternoon in the office and a gig in the evening. I'll usually make dinner post event – or meet friends out for a drink!
DNP: What projects have you recently been working on?
Hannah: I recently launched HBfit.com, which is an extension of my Instagram. I write about all things related to health, wellness and style! We've been getting a great response and we are super excited about propelling the brand forward.
DNP: What do you find most challenging and exciting about your career?
Hannah: I love that I'm able to dabble in so many different fields: music, beauty, tech and fashion. It keeps things interesting, but super busy! Balancing is a challenge but I wouldn't have it any other way.
DNP: Where does your passion derive from?
Hannah: The entrepreneurial spirit runs in my family!
DNP: How do you manage a healthy work/life balance?
Hannah: By realizing that working 24/7 is not productive. I make sure that I make time in my day to eat solid meals, workout and unwind.
DNP: What does success look like to you?
Hannah: Being able to do what I love, with people that are equally passionate and happy!
DNP: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Hannah: Launching HBFit and being able to make a career out of my passions.
DNP: What’s one word that best describes your personality?
DNP: What is your greatest fear?
Hannah: Not being passionate about my work.
DNP: What is your most treasured possession?
Hannah: The apartment my boyfriend and I just bought together!
DNP: If you weren’t doing what you’re doing, what would you be doing?
Hannah: I was a Fine Arts major in college, so I would probably be a sculptor.
DNP: Do you have any upcoming projects in the pipeline?
Hannah: I have a fully loaded pipeline, so definitely stay tuned!
DNP: Where is your favourite place to travel and why?
Hannah: I love going new places! Dying to get to Bali.
DNP: Where would you most like to live?
Hannah: If I could swing spending half my time in LA and half in NYC, that would be ideal.
DNP: How do you spend your down time?
Hannah: Cooking, working out and building a garden on the terrace of my new place.
DNP: If you could spend a day with any person (living or dead), who would it be and why?
Hannah: Tracy Ellis Ross is so historical. Would love to do a T MURDA video with her!
DNP: If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
Hannah: Definitely a disco queen from the 70's. I wish I could have experienced Studio 54 live.
DNP: Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
Hannah: The best things in life are not easy to achieve, so keep grinding and never give up!
